  11. After buying my 28800 modem I found out, that i ve got a 8250
  12. Uart-chip and that I have to look for an extra serial port card.
  13. After some netsearching I found 2 solutions.
  14. One is buying a 16550 or 16650 Uart serial port card,
  15. the other was getting the Hayes ESP Communication Accelerator 
  16. which has a 1024 byte buffer and a communication Co-Processor and
  17. allows throughput up to 200.000 bps with special software.
  18. (dont ask me what this thing does eccept doing some work for the main
  19. processor)
  20. So has anyone heard of the esp seriall port card or uses it ???

  22. Where can I get this card in London ???
